What's Included in Every Airport Transfer Booking

No hidden fees. No surprises. Everything below is standard — not an upgrade.

Most airport taxi services charge extra for the things that actually matter. A driver who waits for you. A name board in arrivals. A seat for your child. Someone monitoring your flight while you're still 35,000 feet in the air. With UK Airport Transfer Services, every single one of those things comes as standard, in every booking, at every price point.

This page sets out exactly what you get — not what you can add on, not what costs more if you ask nicely. What is simply included, every time, because we think it should be.

If you have ever booked an Uber at Heathrow and watched the surge price climb while your bags were still on the belt — you will understand why this matters.

Everything Included as Standard

  • ✅ Fixed Price Confirmed Before You Travel

The price shown when you book is the price you pay. Full stop. There is no meter running in the background. There is no surge pricing at 5am or on a bank holiday. There is no adjustment if your journey takes longer than expected due to traffic. Your fixed price airport taxi fare is locked at the point of booking — and nothing that happens between then and your drop-off changes it.

This is the single biggest difference between a pre-booked private hire airport transfer and opening a ride-hailing app on the day.

  • ✅ Live Flight Tracking — Automatic, No Action Required

Your driver monitors your flight from the moment it is in the air. If it lands early, your driver is already adjusted. If it is delayed by an hour, your driver knows before you do — and will be there when you actually arrive, not when you were scheduled to.

You do not need to call. You do not need to send a message. The tracking is built into every booking and runs automatically. This applies to arrivals at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, and London City Airport — all five, every time.

  • ✅ Meet and Greet Inside the Terminal — Name Board Displayed

Your driver will be standing in the arrivals hall with a name board when you walk through. Not in the car park. Not at a kerb on the other side of a road crossing. Inside the terminal, at arrivals, ready to take your luggage.

Meet and greet is included on every airport arrival booking — it is not a premium add-on and there is no surcharge. For passengers arriving at Heathrow Terminal 2, 3, 4, or 5, your driver will be in the correct arrivals hall for your flight. No confusion, no hunting around.

  • ✅ 30 Minutes Free Waiting — From the Moment Your Flight Lands

The clock does not start when your plane touches down. You have 30 full minutes of free waiting time from the confirmed landing time of your flight. That is enough time to clear passport control, collect your luggage, and walk through arrivals without rushing. No extra charge, no clock ticking, no anxious messages from a driver who arrived too early and is now in a hurry.

For cruise port pickups — including Southampton — 30 minutes free waiting is included.

  • ✅ Child Seats — Fitted and Ready

Request the appropriate child seat at the time of booking — infant, toddler, or booster — and it will be fitted in the vehicle when your driver arrives.. You do not need to bring your own through the airport. You do not need to fold it into the boot yourself.

For families travelling with young children, this alone removes one of the most stressful parts of an airport journey.

  • ✅ Free Wi-Fi On Board

Every vehicle has free Wi-Fi for the duration of your journey. Whether you need to catch up on emails on the way to a business meeting, update family on your arrival, or simply decompress after a long-haul flight with something to watch — the connection is there, it works, and it costs nothing extra.

  • ✅ Complimentary Bottled Water

A bottle of water is waiting in the vehicle for every passenger. Small detail, genuine difference — especially after a long flight or an early morning departure.

  • ✅ No Early Morning or Late Night Premium

A pickup at 3:30am for a 6am departure costs exactly the same as a midday run. There is no unsociable hours surcharge, no overnight rate, no weekend premium. The price you see is the same regardless of when you travel — which is exactly how it should be when your flight time is not a choice.

  • ✅ DBS-Checked, TfL-Licensed Drivers — Every Single One

Every driver working under the UK Airport Transfer Services banner holds a full TfL private hire licence and has passed a DBS criminal record check. This is not a gig economy platform where standards vary by driver. Every booking is with a vetted, professional, licensed driver. TfL Licence: 01094601.

  • ✅ Executive Vehicles Available — Same Inclusions, Premium Comfort

All of the above is included whether you book a standard saloon or an executive Mercedes or BMW. Upgrading your vehicle does not unlock the inclusions — they are already there. The executive option simply adds a higher specification vehicle for business travel, client collections, or occasions where the ride itself matters.

Our Fleet:

Travel in Comfort and Style

  • Saloon

Our Saloon vehicles are the backbone of our city and airport transfer services. Ideal for up to 4 passengers with 2 medium suitcases and 2 hand luggages, these cars offer a smooth, quiet ride through London's busy streets. They are the perfect choice for solo business travelers or couples who prioritize a quick and professional arrival at their destination.

  • Estate

When you need more room without upgrading to a large van, the Estate is the perfect middle ground. Capable of carrying 4 passengers with 3 large suitcases and 4 hand luggages, this vehicle is designed for travelers who don't want to compromise on luggage space. It is particularly popular for families heading on long-haul flights or those beginning a multi-day tour of the UK.

  • Front view of a black BMW car with a shiny, reflective surface, showing the grille, headlights, and windshield, with reflections of clouds on the hood and windshield.

    Executive

For those who desire a higher level of refinement, our Executive fleet features premium models such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Accommodating 4 passengers and 2 suitcases and 2 hand luggages, these vehicles are finished with high-end interiors and advanced climate control. It is the gold standard for high-profile business meetings or special occasion tours where style is just as important as the destination.

  • A black minivan on display in a car dealership showroom.

    MPV

Our standard MPVs are the go-to solution for small families or groups of up to 5 passengers with 4 suitcases and 5 hand luggages. Offering a more elevated seating position and significantly more legroom than a standard saloon, these vehicles strike the perfect balance between maneuverability and interior space. They are particularly well-suited for regional tours where extra comfort is desired for shorter day trips or medium-range airport transfers.

  • Black Mercedes-Benz van parked on a street with trees in the background.

    8-Seater

For larger families, wedding parties, or groups of friends, our 8-Seater MPVs provide the ultimate shared touring experience. With generous capacity for 8 passengers and 8 suitcases and 8 hand luggages, these vehicles ensure that your entire party travels together without the need for multiple cars. This is our most requested vehicle for the 10-hour car at disposal service, as the spacious cabin and large windows offer every passenger a panoramic view of landmarks like the Cotswolds or the Jurassic Coast

Which Airports Do We Cover?

Every booking covers all five major London airports:

  • Heathrow Airport

All 4 terminals. The most common central London transfer. Fixed price, meet and greet, 24/7.

  • Gatwick Airport

North and South Terminal. A longer run from central London — typically 45 to 75 minutes off-peak depending on your area. Fixed price confirmed before you travel.

  • Stansted Airport

Approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes from central London via the M11. Early morning departures from EC1–EC4 are particularly common given Stansted's budget airline schedule.

  • Luton Airport

Approximately 50 to 80 minutes from central London via the M1. Popular with Ryanair and Wizz Air passengers.

  • London City Airport

The closest airport to the City of London and Canary Wharf. A short transfer for EC and E14 postcodes — typically 20 to 35 minutes.

What If My Driver Doesn't Show Up? Why Pre-Booked Transfers Work Differently

The most stressful version of a missed airport transfer is not the one where the driver is five minutes late. It is the one where the app cancels at 3:45am and there is no driver at all. This page explains why a named, assigned, pre-booked driver has a fundamentally different reliability profile from an app-matched ride — and what our process is if anything ever does go wrong.

Free Waiting Time — How Our Airport Pickup Policy Actually Works

Most passengers don't realise how differently airport transfer waiting time works until they are standing at baggage reclaim watching the belt go round. Our waiting time policy is built around how airports actually work — you choose your pickup time after landing, we adjust for your actual arrival, and your driver waits a further 30 minutes free from that time. No rushing. No charges. No Uber clock.
